Ok, so here we go. Another blog. One of a few million already out there on the great expanse of the world wide web (does anybody actually call it that anymore?) So does the internet really need another blog? Another small person in this crazy world spilling their experiences, hopes, dreams, knowledge, or whatever out to countless strangers? Nah, not really, but this blog is more for me than for anyone else.

I’ve begun a new chapter in my life. I’ve made a lot of changes, slowly and steadily, but I’ve changed a lot in the course few years that I’ve lived in San Diego. I’m excited, and happy, and just wanted to remember this time, which has been the best time of my life. It’s taken me 35 years to get to this place, and I love it.

Mostly I’ll be talking about my experiences as I train to run my first marathon. I doubt there will be any infinite pearls of wisdom, or anything terribly interesting, but hopefully someone out there may find my words somewhat entertaining.
